child swimming lesson
Do you or your kids want to learn how to swim?  The Recreation department runs this free program at City locations throughout the year.  All instructors are American Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructors or Aides.

NO REGISTRATIONS TAKEN IN THE OFFICE.  REGISTER ONLINE ONLY.
Swim lessons usually begin at age 5.

Summer Lessons are two days per week, for 25 minutes each.

SIGN UP FOR SWIM TESTING ONLY AT THE LOCATION YOU WANT TO TAKE SUMMER LESSONS AT.  SIGNING UP FOR A SWIM TEST DOES NOT GUARANTEE A LESSON.  Lessons are filled at testing and are filled first come first served based on testing times.

Process:
1.) Register for a testing time below at the location you want to take lessons at.
2.) Come to testing ready to swim only at your designated time.  Once there check in with the instructors so that they know you are in attendance.  If you are early you will need to wait until your time.
3.) When your name/number is called your group will enter the pool with the instructor.
4.) The instructor will have you perform some skills to determine your lesson level.
5.) After exiting the pool you can pick a swim time that correlates to your swim level.  Once lessons are filled you will be placed on the wait list in case we have further openings.

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
